Abstract:

The dynamics of topics of modern forensics for the period of 2012–2016 is demonstrated through the study of the publication array of works from the eLIBRARY database. In particular, the author proposes one of the possible methodologies for analyzing the dynamics of topics in the scientific discourse; shows the dynamics of the use of terms in modern forensics; reveals a correlation of the growing and decreasing use of terms, a proportion of terms with zero dynamics, and on this basis he concludes that the forensic discourse at the current stage is developing. The author also studies the dynamics of the discourse  renewal and establishes that there is a decrease in the renewability of the scientific discourse in criminal science for the current period; he determines the descriptors which use is the most and least dynamic; this data shows whether the terminology of the subject area is well-grounded, whether the scientific search is stable. The similar research is conducted for the descriptors describing the subject «Expertise». The author uses the following methods: mathematical, bibliometric, analysis, synthesis, generalization, deduction, analogy.
