The author analyzes problems of teaching of human rights law in the Russian higher educational institutes (universities). By the example of the cases regarding to protection of the fundamental rights and freedoms, the best ways of teaching and educational techniques are considered. the most suitable forms of student’s work (including interactive and problem-based methods of teaching) are examined by means of several substantial aspects of freedom of thought, expression and assembly.
