The problem of Palestinian refugees based on modern situation in Syria is discussed. This problem appeared after the first Arab-Israeli war (1948–1949), when lots of Palestinians were forced to leave their homes and move to other Middle East countries, such as Jordan, Lebanon and Syria. Still, most of these refugees were not given the citizenship, their legal status is still under the question.
