LEGAL ASPECTS OF ACTIVITIES OF DIPLOMATIC REPRESENTATIONS AND CONSULAR OFFICES TO PROTECT THE RIGHTS OF CITIZENS LIVING ABROAD

Activity of diplomatic representations and consular offices in the sphere of protection of the rights of citizens living abroad is regulated on the international legal level and at the level of national legal systems. This article analyzes the provisions of international legal acts and Russian legislation affecting this sphere, attempts to prove that the existing rules are not enough for full and comprehensive settlement of these matters are made.
