THE PHENOMENON OF JUBILEE IN THE STUDY OF HISTORY OF A HIGHER EDUCATIONAL LAW INSTITUTION: RESEARCH OPPORTUNITIES AND PROSPECTS

The work is devoted to understanding the concept of jubilee, its role in history of Russian higher educational law institutions. The jubilee is treated as a unique sociocultural phenomenon. The jubilee traditions of universities are shown through the prism of a rather new scientific concept – «jubileemania». The purpose of the article is to reveal the jubilee history of law universities in the context of a developing field of science – «university science». The authors describe how different Russian universities celebrated their anniversaries. The large part of the article covers the Ural State Law University’s jubilee culture in different years.
