Abstract: 

The article evaluates the time limits for consideration of citizens’ appeals to state authorities and local self-government from the perspective of the modern perception of time. The practice of using digital technologies when working with citizens’ appeals is analysed; the objective need to establish at the legislative level shortened time limits for considering citizens’ appeals submitted electronically is emphasized; the need to systematically amend legal acts in the mentioned area is pointed out.
