Abstract: 

The article substantiates an interdisciplinary nature of genomic legal theory, its connection with bioethics and basic bioethical principles. A general theoretical nature of the category «genomic information» is underlined; certain properties of genomic information are considered. The author develops some general provisions of the original genomic legal theory.
