Abstract:

The authors consider the current tasks of law enforcement agencies and related promising forensic areas and innovative approaches to the detection and investigation of crimes. The article analyses the main directions in the development and implementation of innovations in the field of forensic technology, in the field of forensic tactics, and in the field of forensic techniques. The authors note that the introduction of innovations into the practice of investigating crimes is hampered by certain interrelated factors: subjective (the competence level of the subject), economic (the ratio of goals and resources spent to achieve them) and methodological ones (the need to develop appropriate methods for using innovative products).

Key words:

forensic innovations, tactics of remote investigative actions, digital technologies in forensic science
