Abstract: 

The article studies the peculiarities of the implementation of the right of underage users to access the Internet and restrictions due to the need to protect them. The authors investigate the possibilities of legal regulation aimed at ensuring the interests of children, taking into account the need for their all-round development in the digital era. They come to the conclusion about the need for further improvement of legal regulation in the field of information security of minors and the need of the legislator to grant children the status of a user and the possibility to use legally the Web under the necessary parental control.
