Abstract:

The authors analyse the problems related to the use of audio recording in the civil procedure. These problems include the lack of audio equipment skills, the lack of motivation of court employees, technical malfunctions, the heavy burden on clerks and assistant judges, etc. The authors come to the conclusion that, despite certain difficulties, the introduction of audio recording as a component of the mechanism for ensuring the transparency and openness of the civil procedure as well as the reasonable deadlines seems to be a rather promising and important stage in the development of justice.
