Abstract: 

The article discusses the forensic aspects of using the results of a forensic molecular genetic examination, its advantages over a traditional forensic medical examination of objects of biological origin, as well as its evidential value. The authors consider the molecular genetic examination as one of the stages of a tactical operation aimed at establishing the circumstances to be proved in a criminal case.
