Abstract: 

The article discusses some gaps in the Russian Federation Federal Law «On operative-research activities» related to the international obligations of the Russian Federation on cooperation in the fight against international crimes. The author draws attention towards shortcomings in the regulation of the sending of requests to the competent authorities of foreign countries for the implementation of operative-research actions and the implementation of similar requests in the Russian Federation.
