GENERAL TRENDS OF THE SOVIET COPYRIGHT

The main trends in the development of the Soviet copyright are discussed in the article. Despite special conditions, it continued to be in the paradigm of continental law, although it reflected some peculiarities associated with the convergence of legal systems. The author claims that we are likely to return to the system of copyright protection which had been established after the Great October Socialist Revolution in a form of the paid free use of works.
