The article examines the origin and development of the right to execution of court decisions and other jurisdictional acts. It is proved that the execution right and the right to a fair trial have the same roots, but the implementation of the execution right is rather specific. The author analyzes the development of the right to execution in the countries of continental and common law as well as in Russia.
