THE CONCEPT OF A PROCEDURAL PERIOD IN VARIOUS TYPES OF COURT PROCEDURE OF THE RUSSIAN FEDERATION

The article refers to the concept of a procedural period in various types of court procedure of the Russian Federation. Approaches to understanding the procedural periods in criminal, civil, arbitration proceedings, proceedings on cases of administrative offences, as well as in constitutional proceedings are investigated. On the basis of the concept of a procedural period in these proceedings, as well as the analysis of the concepts given by leading scientists in the field of constitutional litigation, the author distinguishes the features of this category in constitutional proceedings. He gives his own definition of «procedural period» and enumerates its features common to all types of proceedings.
