The influence of the writings of R. von Jhering on the development of the private law thinking, the transformation of his concepts of the historical school of law, criticism of the doctrine of Savigny, the conditions and factors influencing the development of the law, the idea of the necessity of the struggle for private law, the labor theory of property, the nature and significance of private law, the purpose of the law are considered.
