The article examines the specifics of invalidating electronic transactions. Author analyzes the problems that arise in connection with the use of technical means to identify the parties and confirm their true expression of will. According to the author, the key risk of invalidating an electronic transaction is a vice of will, which in modern realities goes beyond assessing the mental state of a person and extends to situations of concluding transactions using technical means without the knowledge of the subject. The author also highlights the problems of applying the consequences of invalidating electronic transactions concluded in blockchain systems
