This article examines the pressing issue of enhancing support measures for orphans and children left without parental care through the use of artificial intelligence (AI) technologies in the context of the legal regulation of these processes. The current situation in Russia is analyzed, noting positive trends in protecting the rights of orphaned children while highlighting persistent problems in their social and labor adaptation. Factors influencing the professional adaptation of orphanage graduates are investigated, and existing support measures are reviewed. Special attention is given to the prospects of applying AI in the social welfare system for orphans, including the creation of personalized educational programs, prediction and prevention of social orphanhood, and optimization of foster family matching. A series of legislative initiatives is proposed to regulate the use of AI in this field, emphasizing the need to adhere to ethical principles and protect personal data.
