Abstract: 

This article covers the topic of agreements on the procedure for conducting negotiations, their diversity and features. A brief overview of the various types of negotiation agreements is provided, and their main characteristics are analyzed. The author highlights the main substantive aspects of such agreements and draws attention to their role as a tool for regulating the interaction of the parties in the negotiation process. The practical application of agreements on the procedure for conducting negotiations in various fields of activity is assessed and the features of their use in various contexts are identified. The existing types and kinds of agreements and letters used in the practice of settling negotiations on the conclusion of a contract are highlighted, such as memorandums of understanding, letters of guarantee, letters of intent, pre-contractual agreements, protocols, etc. Also, the existing points of view of theorists on the nature of such agreements, their role and importance in resolving negotiations are given. When considering the classification of the legal structure of such an agreement, their types are compared with the documents used in business practice. Negotiation agreements and negotiations themselves are distinguished as organizational agreements and relations, respectively, the theory of the existence of which was developed by the Soviet scientist professor O. A. Krasavchikov. The principles and characteristics of organizational legal relations are correlated with the main characteristics of the types of agreements on the procedure for conducting negotiations.
