ROLE AND CURRENT ISSUES OF OWN SECURITY DIVISIONS IN THE SYSTEM OF COMPULSORY ENFORCEMENT BODIES OF THE RUSSIAN FEDERATION
Article:
The article examines the causes and features of the activities of the internal security units of the FSSP of Russia, reveals the tasks assigned to them, the rights and obligations assigned. Attention is paid to the problem of the lack of authority of the investigated units to carry out operative-research activity. A countercurrent of unequal legal norms regulating the exercise by the heads of departments of their own security of the Federal Bailiff Service of Russia of the powers of the head of the investigation unit, reflected in P. 4 of Art. 40.2 of the Code of Criminal Procedure of the Russian Federation, has been established. The author demonstrates, using the example of typical crimes committed by officials of the Federal Bailiff Service of Russia, the tools for their detection and suppression. The necessity of creating a single state body of its own security is touched upon as an effective way to reduce the level of corruption and exclude influence on the decisions of the units under consideration of controlled departments and bodies.
