THE POLITICAL IDEAL (FORM OF GOVERNMENT) IN THE «WORD» AND «MESSAGE» («PRAYER») OF DANIIL ZATOCHNIK

The article analyzes the views of Daniil Zatochnik on the organization of the supreme state power, expressed by him in the «Word» and «Message» («Prayer»). The works of Daniil Zatochnik, the Laurentian and Ipatiev chronicles, the works of Russian prerevolutionary, Soviet and modern scientists are studied. The paper uses general logical techniques, historical, comparative and hermeneutic research methods. The article reveals the political ideal (form of government) proposed by Daniil Zatochnik, which provides for the need to create a permanent collegial body under the prince – the Duma. The conclusions that in the works of Daniil Zatochnik, the concept of limiting the power of the prince has been developed, creating a basis for the participation of representatives of different estates in state administration are formulated. The political ideal of the thinker, most likely, can be considered as a harbinger of a limited (class-representative) monarchy.
