Abstract:

The article discusses the forensic aspects of the organization and conduct of a new type of interrogation established by Art. 189.1 of the Criminal Procedure Code of the Russian Federation. The concept of «video conferencing» is analysed. The authors conclude that it is impossible to use public video conferencing and it is permissible to use only departmental software and hardware complexes during the remote investigative action, due to the peculiarities of the criminal procedure.
