Abstract: 

The article discusses the place of international cooperation in the field of criminal justice in the system of ensuring the financial security of the state on the example of the Republic of Malta. The authors analyse two main areas of Malta’s cooperation with law enforcement agencies of other countries: mutual legal assistance in criminal matters and extradition.
