Abstract: 

The article gives a general description of the prosecutor’s supervision over the implementation of laws on countering extremism. The legal and theoretical framework on this issue is studied. The features of a decision to suspend the activities of a public or religious organization as a prosecutor’s response act are highlighted. The problems of implementation of this act are indicated, and ways of solving them are proposed.
