FORMATION OF PUBLIC SPEAKING SKILLS IN ENGLISH CLASSES
Article:
Formation of public speaking skills in English classes is one of the key elements of the educational process in a law school. The purpose of public speaking is to convey information to the audience and form a response from it. However, not every student can build their presentation consistently and logically even in their native language. Often this is due to self-doubt and fear of public speaking. The article gives recommendations on the use of public speaking tasks in teaching English at law school. Such tasks include any exercises in which the student orally addresses the audience. The article focuses on two types of tasks: student presentations and debates.
