THE CONSTITUTIONAL PRINCIPLE OF A SOCIAL STATE IN THE RUSSIAN FEDERATION: A HISTORICAL AND THEORETICAL ASPECT

The study of the principle of a social state cannot be carried out without analysing the historical premises on the basis of which this principle was enshrined at the constitutional level. The development of the principle of a social state must, therefore, be considered through the lens of the legislation aimed at solving the social problems faced by the government and the implementation of these tasks by the government. The article presents the stages of the historical development of the principle of a social state and identifies the reasons of its emergence, the peculiarities of its constitutional consolidation, and the guarantees of its realization in the Russian Federation in a certain historical period.
