In Finland, administrative matters are resolved primarily in accordance with the provisions of the Administrative Procedure Act of 2003 regulating administrative procedures. These rules concern pendency of administrative matters and their consideration; deciding a matter; a procedure for requesting an administrative review; correcting an error in a decision; and an administrative complaint. The renewed administrative legislation aims at ensuring compliance with the principles of good administration and legal protection in administrative matters.
