Abstract: 

The article reveals the provisions of intergovernmental treaties concluded by the Government of the Russian Federation with the governments of foreign states in various areas of interaction and cooperation, and their role in the implementation of interstate treaties on legal relations and legal assistance in civil, family and (or) criminal cases.
