LEGAL EDUCATION AS A PERSPECTIVE DIRECTION OF THE PROSECUTOR’S ACTIVITY

The article discusses the activities of prosecutors related to legal education. The independence of this function is substantiated. The author characterizes its positive role in creating a legal state and civil society, increasing the level of legal literacy, overcoming the causes and conditions of legal nihilism, patriotic upbringing of citizens, combating crimes. He also identifies the trends to improve the functioning of the prosecutor’s office in the sphere of legal education.
