TROUBLES FROM EDUCATIONAL-METHODICAL COMPLEX

The author is investigating problems arising for the modern Russian teachers at the higher educational institutions (universities) by the elaboration of so-called «UMKs» (Educational-Methodical Complex) which are considered to be now an obligatory part of the academical (educational) process of the Russian universities. The article deals in detail with existing shortcomings of UMKs caused by their rigid structure, and also by the fact of prohibition for the Russian university teachers to refuse to elaborate UMK and use it in the educational process. The article contains author’s conclusions and recommendations concerning UMK improvement, and also regarding respect of the academic freedom of teachers from the side of the domestic higher educational institutions.
