Abstract: 

This article is an attempt to look at the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict between Armenia and Azerbaijan, using norms and principles of international law and not resorting to political expression. The author consistently lists the major arguments ascertaining the state legal fact of the status of Nagorno-Karabakh in 1918 as an interstate dispute. The focus in the text is on the disclosure principles territorial integrity and determination of peoples.
