Abstract:

The relevance of the topic is determined by the need to study the principle of justice in constitutional law in relation to the constitutional principles of equality and the welfare state. The main approaches to understanding the relationship between the concepts of justice and social justice are analysed. The idea of an integrative understanding of legal and social justice is substantiated. The interrelation of the categories of justice, equality, and the social state is shown. The author concludes that the concepts of justice and social justice should be distinguished: justice is considered as a principle, the elements of which are equality, differentiation and individualization; social justice, in turn, implies equal conditions in legal procedures, and that is the basis for its integration with legal justice.
