Abstract: 

The author describes the military childhood and youth of teachers and graduates of the Sverdlovsk Law Institute: V. M. Semenov, V. F. Yakovlev, V. M. Korelsky, M. I. Kukushkin, N. K. Semernova, K. M. Levitan, P. I. Reshetnyuk, V. P. Golovach and others. The article is based on their memories. It shows difficulties of the war years: hard physical labour, hunger, diseases, as well as sufferings of juvenile martyrs of the Leningrad blockade and prisoners of Nazi concentration camps.
