ON THE CURRENT LEGAL PROBLEMS OF STATE SOCIAL ASSISTANCE IN RUSSIA

The author examines the rules of the RF legislation and legislation of its constituent entities related to state social assistance. He addresses the problem of defining its concept, aims, a legal status of subjects of relevant relations, and elements of state social assistance as a legal institution. A number of shortcomings of the current legislation and possible ways of its improvement are pointed out.
