Abstract: 

The author analyzes doctrinal views about liability for fraud and its regulation in the criminal law of Russia, England, Germany, Spain, France and Japan. It is concluded that there is a normative redundancy in the Criminal Code of Russia and that’s why it is proposed to change it.
